Parent Conference 2009

The 10th Annual Parent Conference Weekend was held November 6 to 8, 2009 at the Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood.

Over 40 parents from across Ontario gathered for an exciting weekend that was kicked-off with a "Denim and Diamonds" gala, where parents, staff and guest speakers all showed off their bling!

Over the course of the weekend, parents heard presentations from various CDBA professionals, gathered to hear from a panel of experts in a number of important fields, attended the Ontario Chapter Annual General Meeting and were entertained by a very dynamic magician. And although the silent auction became extremely competitive at times, everyone had a great time, won some prizes and helped raise nearly $1,500 -- which will go towards making next year's parent conference just as eventful, entertaining and intriguing.

Thank you to everyone who attended and who made this conference special; we are already looking forward to next year's event!
